In Katy , TX A man came over and offered his services as a painter to a female putting gas in her car and left his card. She said no , but accepted his card out of kindness and got in the car. The man then got into a car driven by another gentleman. As the lady left the service station, she saw the men following her out of the station at the same time. Almost immediately, she started to feel dizzy and could not catch her breath. She tried to open the window and realized that the odor was on her hand; the same hand which accepted the card from the gentleman at the gas station. She then noticed the men were immediately behind her and she felt she needed to do something at that moment. She drove into the first driveway and began to honk her horn repeatedly to ask for help. The men drove away but the lady still felt pretty bad for several minutes after she could finally catch her breath. Apparently, there was a substance on the card that could have seriously injured her. This drug is called 'BURUNDANGA' and it is used by people who wish to incapacitate a victim in order to steal from or take advantage of them. This drug is four times dangerous than the date rape drug and is transferable on simple cards. So take heed and make sure you don't accept cards at any given time alone or from someone on the streets. Jason Beck SUBMITTED PHOTOAn Apache Junction High School girls basketball coach was arrested on suspicion of sexual conduct with a minor and attempted luring of a minor for sexual exploitation involving one of the players on the team, according to the Apache Junction Police Department. Jason Beck, 24, a junior varsity girls coach, was arrested on Feb. 3 after allegations surfaced of sexually related behavior with a female player, during a joint investigation between the Apache Junction Unified School District and police, according to a school spokeswoman. The investigation found that Beck sent personal text messages to a 17-year-old girl, which led to the alleged inappropriate relationship, and that some of the conversations were sexually charged, police said. Beck is being held in the Pinal County Adult Detention Center on $25,000 bond. A part-time coaching employee at the school, Beck was hired in late October and resigned from his coaching job on Jan. 13, after the allegations of improper behavior surfaced, according to Carol Shepherd, spokeswoman for the school district. “When improper behavior was alleged, we immediately called the police,” Shepherd said. “Mr. Beck subsequently resigned. I had a number of people in my Friends List that when I went to look at their space; were now on private! So, what's the point of me being on your Friends List if I can't see your space?!
My other gripe, is that all these jokers without profile pix often have no Space to speak of.I was finding no blog, no photos,no tunes, and no Profile..just a name.Give me a break here!
Of course, some of the spaces I attempted to visit were gone-non existant.
And you clowns that want me to add you when you have no photo or even a space to boot, are simply wasting the effort.

Scottsdale's where it's at for Super Bowl parties

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (MarketWatch) -- Downtown Scottsdale is the hottest place to see and be seen at night in the sprawling Phoenix metropolitan area as fans and celebrities pour onto the 786-acre stretch of bars, restaurants and nightclubs during this Super Bowl weekend. Many of the hottest parties and fund-raisers ahead of Super Bowl XLII are held in venues with names like Myst, Taste Ultra Lounge and e4. Not surprisingly, traffic is a nightmare and sidewalk navigation a headache as well. The entire area, which also sports high-end shopping and some 100-plus art galleries, is teeming with police on foot, in cars and on horseback, and many streets are barricaded from traffic this weekend. Paramedics are patrolling the area on bicycles. Getting a cab out of the area at closing time is nearly impossible.
But the party-goers seem oblivious to the madness. Scores of fashionably dressed men and women, most in the age range of between 25 to 35 years old, crawl up and down Scottsdale Road in search of celebrities and fun. Although it's decidedly chilly with temperatures in the high 30s at night, most people aren't wearing coats or warm clothes. A great many women are wearing short, sleeveless dresses with bare legs and arms.
"This is a blast," said Howard Price, a financial consultant from Scottsdale. "We've got a lot of clients in town who are just here for the party who we're escorting around. There's just so much going on."
Indeed, football stars, musical icons and a second-tier list of Hollywood celebrities are throwing parties and fund-raisers -- some that don't seem to be pulling in much cash. Rappers 50 Cent, Ludacris, Snoop Dog as well as Mary J. Bilge, Velvet Revolver and older bands like REO Speedwagon are drawing crowds and generating bathroom chatter. Football players Terrell Owens, Jerry Rice, Michael Irvin and Drew Brees and actor Kevin Dillon and Brandon Molale were among those out Friday night, and party-goers swore they saw singers Nick Lachey and Justin Timberlake. All the venues have red carpets welcoming special guests, while those outside the party are left to watch, snap photos or cry for autographs.
"We don't get this kind of thing in Arizona much," said Ashlee Darien, a student at Arizona State University, waiting to get into the music dance club Martini Ranch. "This is the desert."
Indeed, Scottsdale is trying to fashion itself as a Hollywood in the Desert and has redeveloped this area whose roots of citrus tree farms and cotton fields are now filled with trendy entertainment spots, shopping centers, hotels, residential and some office space in a $3 billion project.
Some events are more heavily attended than others. Thousands of people danced to Snoop Dog's outdoor performance at the Bud Bowl at Axis/Radius center Friday while hundreds rocked with Entourage star Adrian Grenier's band, the Honey Brothers, at the HBO-sponsored event. But the crowd was thin at Carmen Electra's Leather and Laces fund-raiser down the street that she co-hosted with Roselyn Sanchez and Catherine Bell. Sugar Ray front man Mark McGrath bounced around the stage and energized the hundred or so people in front of him, but few ventured out of the roped-off VIP area that appeared more heavily populated.
Amanda McDonald, a Realtor from Evansville, Ind., paid $500 to get into the event. She got in a bidding contest -- the only true one at the silent auction -- before "winning" an Indiana Colts helmet signed by Peyton Manning for $5,000. Manning, a quarterback for the Colts, led his team to a Super Bowl championship last year. His younger brother Eli is the New York Giants quarterback who will take on the New England Patriots on Sunday.
"That's the trophy," she said of the Manning helmet, which was enshrined in a plexi-glass box. "The Giants have to win this game this year. They will win...37 to 34," she said. McDonald said she had so much fun partying in Miami at last year's Super Bowl that she wanted to do it again this year in Phoenix. "The Colts should've been here."
Promoters have turned the Scottsdale waterfront -- actually, it's a canal -- into something called the 944 Super Bowl Village. ESPN has set up a broadcast stage at the Stetson Plaza at SouthBridge there and oversized tents have become warehouse-like venues for major events. The ground is covered in an Astroturf-like material that's difficult to walk on and there's nary a wall spot or post that isn't covered with some sort of brand advertising.
On Friday, Paris Hilton held sway with 50 Cent during his jammed-pack performance at the 944 Mag party at the Stetson Canal Project. Dennis Keogh, a celebrity impersonator who has a striking resemblance to Sean Connery, fooled many party-goers who were waiting patiently to get their photos taken with him. One woman even apologized to "Connery's" date for interrupting their time together.
Meanwhile, a Howard Cossell impersonator, who really did sound a lot like the legendary sports commentator, went largely unnoticed.
Typically, downtown Scottsdale will host 30,000 people on any given weekend night, according to the city's convention and visitor's bureau. Well, after a really hot summer; of triple digit temps, there is still no end in sight. We're talking mid to high 90's!

I was working so much, then I decided to take a break.
It's so hot around here, so I decided to spend some time up North.

I traveled around staying at the Hon Dah Resort and Casino, and also rented a log cabin deal at Christmas Tree Lake.
As you can see i've kinda changed this Space around, somewhat.
I removed the Windows Media Player. It was getting to be too much trouble to keep renewing the account at File Den just to keep the song available to play. It kept getting harder and harder to get the right code to link and play it!
Plus a few other cosmetic changes here and there.
My rented cabin at ChristmasTree Lake was fabulous! 3月21日 Canyon Lake ToursFor dinner, i had charcoal-broiled ribeye steak, garden salad, baked potato, vegetables, and rolls. Now, for the weird part!
The steamboat dinner cruise is BYOB! Thats ' Bring Your Own Bottle'. Crazy, huh? We each were able to bring one crummy 6 oz plastic bag thingy of California wine. Oh, well.
i did get some good sunset shots with my camera and the air was wonderful. They do have an Astronomy Cruise, but i can't see all that scenery going to waste while trying to look thru a goofy telescope at the stars. Check it out!
2月18日 HEAT WAVE? Yes, folks! It is like a mini heat wave for the last week., with temperatures more like April than February. No more running the furnace on cold nights or having to wear a jacket at times.As you can see, it is abit above normal right now. Some people like it, i don't...just too weird. we haven't finished February yet! let alone March. A cooling down trend is in store, but they are calling for a series of storms to track in from the west coast. With all this rain, there will be alot of wildflowers in the desert this Spring...and an overdose of pollen, etc. for the allergy sufferers, too!! It is so typical around here for the temps to go up and down in a cycle. Up and down, up and down, up and down..Yawn, yawn.
